so... what exactly am i signing up for?

Dance Marathon at SDSU is neither a dance, nor a marathon. Instead, it's a celebration of our year-long movement for local kids being treated for illness or injury at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, just 15 minutes away from campus. Every February, we hold an 18 hour, overnight capstone event in which we celebrate all the miracles we made happen that year. Registering as a participant includes access to the greatest 18 hours of your life, a t-shirt, catered meals all night long and the opportunity to hang out with our Rady kids. You’ll join the efforts of over 1,000 of your peers to be “this generation fighting for the next.”

Being a participant at Dance Marathon at SDSU is much more than standing on your feet for 18 hours. It means supporting the children treated at Rady, fighting for their health and celebrating their successes. After all, everyone deserves the chance to be an Aztec.
